Flexible Manufacturing Systems, Inc. (FMS) came to be in Feb of 2009. After 18 years of working for such major machine tool builders as W.A. Whitney, Salvagnini, and Pivatic I found myself wanting to start my own business. We set out with some basic ideas and principles we wanted to adhere to – Have Fun, Treat People the way we want to be treated, do the next right thing, and keep our side of the street clean. I have always had a fascination to see how various products are made and processes followed. This most likely comes from my first few years of working as a Manufacturing and Industrial Eng.

FMS, Inc. has been richly blessed in our first year with numerous orders for both new and used machinery. We have also been able to meet new people by having more to offer than just one product line. I love meeting people! Our company meetings are often in the boat and normally involve a tight nylon rope and cigar afterwards! We take our jobs seriously but also know how to have good clean fun along the way!
